  Description

  In level pasture. Monument, depicted as embarked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. Line of enclosing element discernable as very slight scarp SE->SW with band of rushes along its outside edge possibly marking line of fosse. Band of rushes continues around rest of circumference enclosing roughly circular area (c. 30.5m N-S; c. 26.5m E-W). Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011

  Description

  In flat low-lying terrain. Roughly circular area (diam. 31m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.65m) with external waterlogged fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2m). A trackway (Wth 4m) cuts through enclosure on SE-NW axis leaving enclosing element in two isolated sections, both of which are covered in dense vegetation overgrowth. Break in bank at S (Wth 3.5m).   Description

  In flat low-lying pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled except for section of enclosing earthen bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.9m) NW->E. An E-W field boundary crosses area of enclosure near its N edge. Outside surviving section of bank is slight trace of external fosse (D 0.1m; Wth c. 2.5m) accentuated by arc of thistles growing along this.   Description

  In pasture, on a NW- facing sloped terrace on the N side of a low hill. Circular area (19.2m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 1m) with an external fosse (D 0.8m; Wth 1.7m) and a counterscarp bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.5m). An E-W running field drain truncates the enclosing element ESE->SW. Cattle have worn paths across the scarp at NW, NNW and ESE. The interior is level and covered by rough marshy pasture.
