  Description

  In level pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 36.2m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.2m; H 0.1-0.4m) with a wide, shallow, external fosse (Wth 4.4m; D 0.2m). From SW-W-NNE the outer face of the bank and the fosse have been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. From NNE-NE-ENE the fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. • LF014-064 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a gentle SE-facing slope in pasture. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a raised oval area (diam. c. 38m NE-SW; c. 29m NW-SE) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone with a shallow external fosse. The original entrance was not recognisable. The rath has since been levelled and is not visible at ground level. Compiled by: Patrick F.   Description

  On a gentle SE-facing slope in pasture. Not marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a raised subrectangular area (c. 42m NW-SE; c. 25m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a shallow external fosse. • LF014-066 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a gentle SSE-facing slope in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 49.7m) enclosed by a wide, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 7.9m; H 0.7m max.) with a wide, deep, external fosse (Wth 6.8m; D 0.9m). It is divided into unequal portions by a modern NE-SW field boundary. The much-smaller portion, to the SE, has been levelled but its outline is still identifiable, albeit with some difficulty. A break (Wth 3.7m) in the bank at NNE with an accompanying causeway may mark the original entrance. Projecting into the interior from the inner face of the bank at N is a large, irregularly shaped mound of earth and stone (20.4m E-W; 17.4m N-S; max. H 0.6m) of unknown significance.   Description

• LF014-138 Ritual site - holy well
  Description

  On the N side of a road, in wet poorly drained land overlooking bogland to the S. This spring well is enclosed by a small wellhouse that is constructed of concrete walls and a slated roof. It is open to the E and one step leads down to the water. Votive offerings have been placed on top of the side-walls and they also hang from the rafters of the roof over the well.
