Description
On a gentle ENE-facing slope in pasture immediately above a stream. A raised roughly oval area (40.1m E-W; 31.9m N-S) enclosed by a wide low bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.35m; H 0.2m max.) with a wide, shallow, external fosse (Wth 5.1m; D 0.6m). Description
In level, low-lying pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised subcircular area (c. 35m NW-SE; c. 29m NE-SW) enclosed by the remains of two substantial banks of earth and stone with a wide, deep, intervening fosse.
