  Rectangular structure (L 8.7m, Wth 6.5m) aligned E-W. Probably remains of a late medieval church. (CLAJ 1933, 98-9; CLAJ 1986, 223). The above description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991).   Description

  Located at the S edge of a plateau and at the crest of a S-facing slope. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse with a possible entrance gap (Wth c. 5m) at NE is visible on Google Earth (12/07/2013). It has an internal circular feature (diam. c. 10m) defined by a fosse, and it was first reported by Jean Charles Caillere.
