In good pasture, atop N-S running ridge. Raised, roughly circular area (33m N-S; 37m E-W), enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m), with shallow external fosse (D 0.2m) NE to SE. Description
Private burial ground, extant 1838, including: Freestanding drag edged rusticated limestone ashlar tomb on lichen-covered base. Set in unkempt grounds on an elevated site in woodland with piers to perimeter supporting flat iron double gates.
