Description
Single-arch railway bridge over road, opened 1895; extant 1915. Closed, 1934. Reopened, 1936. Closed, 1937. Now disused. Tuck pointed snecked rock faced sandstone walls with rock faced cut-limestone coping to parapets. Single segmental arch with drag edged rock faced sandstone ashlar voussoirs centred on drag edged rock faced cut-sandstone keystones. Sited spanning road with unkempt embankments to road.

Description
Detached eight-bay double-height single-cell Catholic church, designed 1904; built 1905-6; dedicated 1906, on a rectangular plan originally six-bay double-height single-cell. Extended, 1931, producing present composition. Renovated, ----, with sanctuary reordered. Reroofed, ----. Replacement pitched slate roof with clay or terracotta ridge tiles, "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed coping to gables including "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed coping to gable to entrance (north) front with drag edged rock faced cut-sandstone battered bellcote to apex framing cast-bronze bell, and uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on slightly overhanging exposed timber rafters retaining some cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Roughcast battered walls on rendered chamfered plinth with drag edged rock faced hammered sandstone quoins to corners; roughcast wall to entrance (north) front with segment-topped drag edged rock faced sandstone ashlar clasping buttresses to corners. Round-headed window openings with drag edged rock faced hammered sandstone block-and-start surrounds framing fixed-pane fittings. Round-headed "Trinity Window" (south) with drag edged rock faced hammered sandstone block-and-start surround framing fixed-pane fittings. Round-headed door opening to entrance (north) front with concrete threshold, and drag edged rock faced hammered sandstone block-and-start surround having stepped rebated reveals with hood moulding framing replacement timber boarded double doors having overlight. Round-headed "Trinity Window" (gable), drag edged rock faced hammered sandstone block-and-start surround with hood moulding framing storm glazing over fixed-pane fittings having stained glass margins centred on leaded stained glass panel. Interior including vestibule (north) with encaustic tiled floor; square-headed door opening into nave with glazed timber panelled double doors having sidelights on panelled risers; full-height interior with timber panelled choir gallery (north) below stained glass "Trinity Window" (----), carpeted central aisle between roll-topped timber pews, timber panelled wainscoting supporting carved timber dado rail, paired Gothic-style timber stations, carpeted stepped dais to sanctuary (south) reordered, ----, with replacement altar below "Trinity Window", and exposed Hammerbeam roof construction on corbels with timber boarded barrel vaulted ceiling on carved timber cornice. Set in relandscaped grounds with drag edged rock faced sandstone ashlar piers to perimeter having ovoid finial-topped beach stone capping.

Detached four-bay single-storey part double-pile convent with half-dormer attic, built 1932, on an L-shaped plan including two-bay single-storey chapel opening into single-bay single-storey flat-roofed apse (east) on a half-octagonal plan. Vacated, 1986. Sold, 1997. Renovated, 2002. For sale, 2012. Interior including (ground floor): central hall retaining carved timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors; drawing room (west) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door with carved timber surround to window opening, "Faience Majolica" tiled cut-veined black marble Classical-style chimneypiece, and picture railing below moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling; bow-ended chapel (east) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door, herring bone-pattern timber parquet floor, carved timber dado rail, compartmentalised ceiling on stepped corbels, and stepped dais to sanctuary (east) with square-headed chancel arch; "back hall" or staircase hall (north) retaining staircase on a dog leg plan with timber balustrade supporting timber banister terminating in ball finial-topped timber newels, and carved timber surrounds to door openings to landing framing timber panelled doors. Set in unkempt landscaped grounds.

Detached two-bay single-storey railway station master's house with half-dormer attic, designed 1895; built 1895-6[?]; occupied 1901, on a T-shaped plan with single-bay (three-bay deep) full-height gabled projecting end bay. Closed, 1934. Reopened, 1936. Closed, 1937. In private residential use, 1965. Disused, 2006. For sale, 2007. Dismantled, 2008. Now in ruins. Pitched roof on a T-shaped plan dismantled, 2008, retaining sections of timber construction with red brick Running bond chimney stacks including paired red brick Running bond central chimney stacks on chamfered cushion courses on red brick Running bond bases having corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta pots, remains of timber bargeboards to gables on timber purlins, and no rainwater goods surviving on dismantled red brick eaves retaining some cast-iron downpipes. Red brick English Garden Wall bond walls with bull nose-detailed red brick quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings in tripartite arrangement to platform (north) elevation with drag edged dragged cut-limestone sills, and red brick voussoirs framing timber pivot fittings having square glazing bars. Square-headed window openings (remainder) with drag edged dragged cut-limestone sills, and red brick voussoirs framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Interior in ruins retaining carved timber surrounds to window openings framing timber panelled shutters. Set in unkempt grounds.

Red brick English Garden Wall bond walls with bull nose-detailed red brick quoins to corners supporting roundel-detailed cast-iron water tank on red brick English bond corbelled stepped "cornice". Round-headed door opening with red brick block-and-start surround having bull nose-detailed reveals framing remains of timber door having fanlight. Roundel over with red brick voussoir surround framing louvered timber fitting. Round-headed openings to "cheeks" with cut-limestone sills, and red brick block-and-start surrounds having bull nose-detailed reveals framing cast-iron fittings having fanlights. Set in unkempt grounds shared with Mallaranny Railway Station.

Replacement pitched slate roof on a H-shaped plan centred on pitched (gabled) slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, cement rendered central chimney stacks having stringcourses below corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta pots, thumbnail beaded red brick header bond coping to gables with pediments to apexes, and cast-iron rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed exposed timber rafters with cast-iron hoppers and downpipes. Replacement roughcast walls with red brick quoins to corners. Series of three round-headed central openings between red brick Running bond piers on red brick Running bond pedestals with red brick block-and-start archivolts centred on red brick keystones. Square-headed central door opening into hotel with slate flagged threshold, and rendered surround with red brick voussoirs framing replacement glazed timber door having overlight. Square-headed flanking window openings with red brick header bond "Cyma Recta" or "Cyma Reversa" sills, and rendered surrounds with red brick voussoirs framing replacement twelve-over-two timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings with red brick header bond "Cyma Recta" or "Cyma Reversa" sills, and rendered surrounds with red brick voussoirs centred on red brick keystones framing replacement one-over-one timber sash windows replacing twelve-over-two (ground floor) or eight-over-two (first floor) timber sash windows. Interior including (ground floor): central hall retaining timber panelled reveals to window openings; and timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors with timber panelled reveals to window openings. Set in landscaped grounds on an elevated site.

Description
Detached four- or five-bay single-storey direct entry thatched house, extant 1838. Renovated, 1990[?], to accommodate occasional use. Replacement pitched Turkish reed thatch roof with chicken wire-covered exposed steel lattice stretchers to raised ridge having blind scallops, and concrete coping to gables with cement rendered chimney stack to apex (west). Limewashed lime rendered battered wall to front (south) elevation; replacement cement rendered surface finish (remainder). Square-headed window openings with concrete or rendered sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement one-over-one timber sash windows. Pair of square-headed door openings with concealed dressings framing replacement timber boarded or tongue-and-groove timber panelled half-doors. Road fronted with gravel verge to front.
