Description
Located towards the bottom of a NE-facing slope. A circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) is represented on the 1836 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a ‘Fort’, and an arc of hachures is represented on the 1912 edition NW-E (Chord c. 40m). This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 38m N-S; c. 37m E-W) defined by a slight scarp (max. dims at N: Wth 2.8m; H 1.3m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 22 February 2019

Description
Located on a ridge towards the outer, N edge of a shelf. It is represented as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1836 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a small enclosed copse on the 1912 edition. This is an oval, overgrown area (dims 31.5m E-W; 21m N-S) with some rock outcrop that slopes down to the E. It is defined by a fosse feature (Wth 2-2.8m; max. D 0.4m) SW-W-NE and a low scarp (H 0.4m to 1m at SE) elsewhere. An original entrance is not identified. Coniferous trees were planted outside it at some time, and it is now surrounded by a field bank and hedge. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 22 February 2019

Description
Situated towards the bottom of the NE-facing slope of a hill. This is represented as a subrectangular embanked enclosure described as a ‘Fort’ on the 1836 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a rectangular hachured feature on the 1912 edition. It is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims 37m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by earthen banks (Wth of base 4-4.4m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 1-1.8m) and hedges on each side except the W where there is a stone wall. There is no visible fosse but the original entrance is probably a gap (Wth of base 2.5m) towards the N end of the E side, which is slightly convex. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 27 February 2019

An earthen bank extending SW from the fosse at SW and a scarp extending NW from the fosse at NW could create a crescentic baily (dim. c. 15m E-W) defined by the curved boundary of the woodland SW-NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 13 May 2016
