  Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey presbytery, built c.1920, with full-height canted bay windows flanking entrance door. Hipped slate roof with ashlar chimneystacks. Snecked rock-faced limestone walls. Timber sash windows set in segmental-arched openings with stone sills. Extended to rear. Outbuildings to site. Octagonal stone gate piers with cast-iron gate.

• Saint Mary's Catholic Church, church/chapel, 1830–1840 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached cruciform-plan church, built 1834, with sacristy to south. Pitched slate roof with ridge cresting and stone cross finials. Rendered walls with limestone quoins, plaques and eaves course. Stained glass windows with carved timber tracery set in pointed arch openings having limestone dressings and hood mouldings. Interior retains many original features and materials. Rubble stone walls with stone gate piers and cast-iron gates, bounding graveyard and church.

Pitched slate roof with cast-iron rooflights, cast-iron rainwater goods and rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls with render quoins. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Stone outbuilding to rear. Rubble stone wall to front, with pair of cast-iron pedestrian gates.

  Detached four-bay single-storey farmhouse with attic accommodation, built c.1820, with entrance porch. Pitched corrugated-fibre cement roof with brick chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls with render platbands and dressings to window openings. Timber battened door and timber sash windows. Extension to west. Stone outbuilding to yard and stone outbuilding to south-east on opposite side of the road.
