Description
Located on a N-facing slope. This embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 100m) with a possible entrance in the wide bank of the perimeter at N was identified on LiDAR coverage (pers comm. Steve Davis, Archaeology Department, UCD, 08 February 2013). It is also faintly visible on Google Earth (28/03/2022). Description
Located on a NW-facing slope. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 12m) defined by a single fosse with expanded terminals around an entrance gap (Wth c. 3m) at ENE. The ring-ditch (ME025-071002-) is c. 15m to the SSW and enclosure (ME025-071003-) is c. 140m to the ESE. The ring-ditches were first recorded on a drone-mounted camera by Justin Kenny in August 2018. Description
Located on a NW-facing slope. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) defined by a single fosse was recorded on a drone-mounted camera by Justin Kenny in August 2018. It is bisected by an E-W field bank, and the perimeter is only recorded W-N-E. The ring-ditches (ME025-071001-; ME025-071002-) are c. 125m and c. 140m to the WNW respectively.
