  Description

  Situated on top of a hill in upland area overlooking river to the W. Circular platform (diam 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 4m at W, 2m at E; int. H 0.5m) with modern gap (Wth 3m) at E with slight evidence of an external fosse at E. Hilltop location would argue against ringfort classification.   Description

  Situated on W facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Large circular platform (diam 32m N-S) enclosed by a gently sloping bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 2.3m), wide flat bottomed fosse (Wth 4m; ext. D 2m) with possible external bank from NE to E where it acts as a field boundary elsewhere it is destroyed. Causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at SE.
