In pasture, on a high ridge with a commanding location, E of Meander River. Shown on OS map (1931) as roughly oval enclosure (diam. c. 150m); now defined by scarp. Stone field fence running WNW-ESE, divides the site into two sectors. Land to S was reclaimed but scarp (H 1.3m) survives ESE-WNW. Outline of N portion is easily descernible from the ground and scarp contiues to N. Breach (Wth 28m) in E may been position of entrance. Clearance in 1982 removed inner and outer earthen banks and two upright stones, while also uncovering human bones. Local tradition of religious settlement here.
