Description
Moved from its original location, (KD029-010----) c. 270m to the NW, to the front lawn of a private house. A well-preserved D-shaped granite block (L 1.45m; Wth 0.5-1.45m; H 0.85m) with a roughly rectangular upper surface (L 1m; Wth 0.7m) which contains two well-carved basins (a W- one: diam. 0.3m; D 0.2m and a shallower E-one: 0.3m; D 0.05m). Description
Near the top (500 foot contour) of a short but steep E-facing pasture slope overlooking the River Liffey to the E. Two other enclosures lies a short distance to the S (KD029-053----) and SE (KD029-054----). A fairly well-preserved oval, penannular enclosure, open towards the NE (int. diams. 27.5m N-S; 24m E-W) is defined by a low grass-covered inner, earthen bank (int. H 0.3-1.2m; Wth 1.4-3.5m; ext. H 0.3-0.5m) ENE- S-W-N, and by a shallow outer fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 1.2-3.4m) recut as a later drain ENE-SE. Naturally rising ground means the W-half of the interior rises steeply (H 2.7m). Description

A fairly well-preserved small, circular area (int. diams. 17m N-S; 16m E-W) is defined by a low earthen bank (int. H 0.2-1.2m; Wth 3-5.6m; ext. Description

H 0.8m; Wth 3-4.2m; ext. H 0.6m) and a shallow outer fosse (D 0.5m; Wth at base 1.6m) NE-E-SE. Quarrying has disturbed the enclosing elements and the interior elsewhere. Description
On the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map this earthwork was located in a woodland plantation on the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge located 330m to NNE. Bullaun stone (KD029-010----) located 100m to S. Outline of circular-shaped sunken area (approx. diam. 10m) enclosed by a curving bank visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-13. Could be the remains of a pond-barrow or a designed landscape feature such as an ornamental pond associated with landscaping of the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge. Description
On the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map this earthwork is depicted as a small wooded grove located in on the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge located 330m to NNE. Bullaun stone (KD029-010----) located 100m to S. Cropmark of circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 20m) visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-13. Could be the remains of a post-1700 designed landscape feature such as a tree-ring or possibly a ringfort reused as a tree-ring associated with landscaping of the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge. Description
Six-arch bridge over river, built 1784. Damaged, 1868. Roughcast coursed rubble stone walls centred on granite ashlar triangular cutwaters to piers having pyramidal capping with cut-granite (north) or schist soldier course (south) coping to parapets centred on lichen-covered benchmark-inscribed plaque. Series of six segmental arches with granite ashlar voussoirs centred on cut-granite keystones. Sited spanning River Liffey with unkempt banks to river.

Description
Detached two-bay single-storey gate lodge, extant 1837, on a rectangular plan; two-bay single-storey rear (south) elevation. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles centred on red brick Running bond chimney stack having red brick capping, moss-covered cut-granite coping to gables, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Roughcast coursed rubble stone walls with concealed cut-granite flush quoins to corners. Pointed-arch door opening (east) with cut-granite block-and-start surround centred on cut-granite keystone framing timber boarded door. Pointed-arch window opening (west) with cut-granite sill, and cut-granite block-and-start surround centred on cut-granite keystone framing remains of timber fitting. Pointed-arch window openings (south) with cut-granite sills, and cut-granite block-and-start surrounds centred on cut-granite keystones framing remains of timber fittings. Set back from line of road at entrance to grounds of Mountcashel Lodge with granite ashlar piers to perimeter having cut-granite monolithic capping supporting wrought iron double gates.

Description
Remains of country house, extant 1777, including (north): Detached two-bay single-storey pavilion with half-attic on a rectangular plan. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, and no rainwater goods surviving on cut-granite eaves. Roughcast walls with cut-granite quoins to corners. Pair of pointed-arch door openings with no fittings surviving. Pair of square-headed window openings (gable ends) with cut-granite sills, and concealed red brick block-and-start surrounds with no fittings surviving. Set in unkempt grounds.
