Description
Internal diam. 29m N-S, 36.5m E-W Lisnadiha/Lios na Daibhche: A subcircular earthen-banked enclosure situated on a S facing slope on the N side of the high road from Dingle to Lispole. The site should probably be classed as a rath, but is unusual in that the interior consists of a raised platform with slight traces of a possible bank around its upper edge. A wide space or fosse separates the platform from the enclosing bank which now supports a ring of coniferous trees, and a 2nd fosse lies outside this again. The bank outside the outer fosse in the NE quadrant is part of the townland boundary and not an original feature of the site. The outer fosse is c. 3m wide and is 1.5m deep below the external ground level. The bank is 2.5m high above both the outer and inner fosses. The latter is 4 to 6m wide and the central platform rises 1.1m above it. The entrance at SE consists of a 3m wide break in the bank and a reduction in the height of the inner platform for a length of 5m. Neither fosse continues across the entrance area. The stones on either side of the gap in the bank are secondary features. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 414. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 7 August 2013

Description
Listonavally/Lios Tón an Bhaile: This circular univallate enclosure, c. 26m in diameter, is defined partly by a very low bank, partly by a low scarp, the interior being raised up to 1.5m above the external ground level, and partly by a modern field wall which preserves the line of the original bank. There is reputed to be a souterrain here, possibly that described in the OSL as consisting of several chambers and passages and as being located within a circular hut foundation in a destroyed rath. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 614. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 7 August 2013

Description
Estimated diam. 48m This site was marked as a circular univallate enclosure on the 1st edition of the OS map. By 1896 the W half had been destroyed (2nd edition of OS map), and the bank around the E half is now only faintly discernible. There are slight traces of a possible fosse. The S part of the interior has been bisected E-W by a field wall. Low mounds occur on either side of this and on the S side is a depression measuring c. 8m in diameter and .6m in depth. The latter may mark the location of a hut site or possibly a souterrain. The site lies on a SE facing slope about 125m E of KE053-022----. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 615.
