Description
Situated on the level floor of a narrow NE-SW valley. Rectangular structure (dims. 7m x 4m) defined by low foundations of earth and stone. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). Description
Listed as an 'enclosure' in the SMR (1986) based on cartographic evidence (1st edtion OS six-inch map, 1838) where it is depicted as a hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m).
