  Description

  Situated in bog on the SW slope of Woodcock Hill adjacent to a W-facing scarp replete with large boulders. A flat-topped subrectangular boulder (L 1m; Wth 0.5m) with a circular flat-bottomed hollow (diam. 0.3m) carved into the surface. Reported to the National Monuments Service by Micheál Mac Gearailt. Some chunks of recently burned wood were noted on the top of the boulder and a modern plastic crucifix was nailed to a nearby tree. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 2 December 2020
