Description
On the crest of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. Described as an oval area (dims 28m N-S; 22.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and outer fosse which was conjoined to rath (RO017-188002-) which is immediately to the E (Gannon 1972). A short arc (C 4m) of an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m) and outer fosse (Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.2m) survive at NE in reclaimed pasture. Description
On the crest of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. Described as a circular area (diam. 33m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank and outer fosse which was conjoined to rath (RO017-188001-) immediately to the W (Gannon 1972). Description
On the crest of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 33m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 3.1m at E to 4.7m at W; int. H 0.4m at S to 1.1m at N and W; ext. H 1.2m at E to 1.4m at S), and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.4-5.7m; Wth of base 2.8m at W to 3.6m at E; D 0.6m), which is used as a farm track circumscribed by a field bank W-N-E.
