Detached ten-bay five-storey rubble stone mill with attic, c.1850. Extended, c.1875, comprising thirteen-bay two-storey rubble stone wing with attic to north-east. Extensively renovated, c.2000, with single-bay single-storey projecting glazed porch added to south-east to accommodate use as offices. Pitched roofs with replacement slate, c.2000, clay ridge tiles, rendered coping, replacement square rooflights, c.2000, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.2000, on rendered rubble stone eaves. Hipped slate roof to porch with clay ridge tiles and uPVC rainwater goods on slate-clad eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar and sections of replacement cement repointing, c.2000. Shallow segmental-headed window openings with stone sills (some having replacement cut-limestone sills, c.2000) and red brick dressings including ‘voussoirs’. Replacement timber-faced uPVC casement windows, c.2000, with some openings blocked-up with random rubble stone. Shallow segmental-headed door openings to wing to north-east with red brick ‘voussoirs’ and replacement glazed timber panelled doors, c.2000, having timber-clad uPVC sidelights and overlights. Square-headed openings to porch with glazed timber panelled door and fixed-pane timber-clad uPVC windows on concrete sill. Set back from road in own grounds with tarmacadam grounds to site.

Detached two-bay two-storey mill owner’s house, c.1850, with single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to right ground floor and three-bay single-storey wing to south-east continuing into single-bay single-storey end bay to south-east. Extensively renovated, c.1950, with some openings remodelled. Now in private residential use. Pitched roofs (gabled to porch) with replacement artificial slate, c.1950, clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, rendered coping and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.2000, on timber eaves. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings (some remodelled, c.1950) with replacement concrete sills, c.1950. Replacement timber casement windows, c.1950. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door, c.1950. Set back from road in grounds shared with Niervale Mill with gravel forecourt to front and lawns to north-east. Detached three-bay single-storey farmhouse, c.1880, possibly over part-basement retaining original aspect with four-bay single-storey return to north on a cruciform plan having single-bay single-storey projecting bay to east and single-bay single-storey gabled projecting glazed porch to west. Hipped slate roofs on a T-shaped plan (gabled to porch; hipped to projecting bay) with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks and cast-iron rainwater goods on overhanging rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls. Painted red brick Running bond walls to porch with stringcourse and saw tooth detailing. Square-headed window openings (one in bipartite arrangement to projecting bay) with stone sills. 1/1 and 2/2 timber sash windows. Segmental-headed door opening approached by five cut-stone steps with glazed timber panelled door, sidelights and overlight. Square-headed door opening to porch with replacement tongue-and-groove timber panelled door, c.2000. Square-headed window openings to porch with stone sill and 2/2 timber sash windows. Set back from road in own grounds with gravel forecourt to front having sections of stone cobbling, landscaped grounds to site having wrought iron fences, and stone cobbled paths and courtyard to north.(ii) Attached two-bay single-storey mono-pitched outbuilding, c.1880, to north. Mono-pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. Unpainted roughcast lime rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed window opening with stone sill and 2/2 timber sash window. Square-headed door opening with timber boarded door.

Set back from road in grounds shared with Nirevale.(ii) Attached four-bay single-storey range, c.1880, perpendicular to north-west (sheltering one carriageway) with open front. Reroofed, c.1930. Mono-pitched roof with replacement corrugated-iron, c.1930, and iron rainwater goods. Random rubble stone walls. Square-headed openings to front (east) elevation forming arcade on timber posts having no fittings.

Square-headed window openings with no sills and timber lintels. 2/2 timber sash windows. Elliptical-headed carriageway to left ground floor with granite ashlar voussoirs and wrought iron gate. Series of four square-headed carriageways to right ground floor with timber lintels having segmental relieving arches with squared rubble stone voussoirs, and timber boarded doors. Set back from road in grounds shared with Nirevale with section of random rubble stone boundary wall to forecourt of range to west having wrought iron gates with split curved finials.

Irregular coursed squared rubble stone walls with replacement mass-concrete, c.1950, to parapets having wrought iron railings over. Single segmental arch with squared granite voussoirs and squared rubble stone soffits having lime render over. Sited spanning River Nier with grass banks to river.

Detached three-bay single-storey Church of Ireland church, built 1847, on a rectangular plan comprising two-bay single-storey nave opening into single-bay single-storey chancel (north). Closed, ----. Now disused. Pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, overgrown cut-limestone coping to gable to entrance (south) front with overgrown bellcote to apex, and no rainwater goods surviving on cut-limestone eaves. Creeper- or ivy-covered coursed rubble stone walls with cut- or hammered limestone flush quoins to corners. Lancet window openings with hammered limestone block-and-start surrounds framing four-over-four timber sash windows having Y-tracery glazing bars. Paired lancet window openings to entrance (south) front with hammered limestone block-and-start surrounds. Set in overgrown grounds.
