  Description

  In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (26.8m N-S; 29.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 1m; W 3.1m). Bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 2m) is best preserved W->N, but worn down by cattle at S. Fosse is widest and flat-bottomed along N arc. A field boundary skirts along outer edge of fosse SSW->NE, so that enclosure occupies NE corner of field. Bank lowers at ESE for c. 2.15m where matched by causeway across fosse.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope. Roughly circular area (49.2m N-S; 48.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 2.45m) SSE->E, with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 2.1m) N->ESE. Bank partially removed E->SSE creating scarped edge (H 1.75m; Wth 5.35m). Interior, under pasture, slopes gently down to SE. Mature trees grow along bank S->E. Site is contained within a small field; dry-stone boundary wall skirts around enclosure SSW->NW.   Description

  In pasture, on low-lying flat terrain. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), has been levelled. Curve in field boundary NNW->WSW, of earth-and-stone construction (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.2m), possibly incorporates enclosing bank; dry-stone field wall abuts external face at ESE.   Description

  In pasture, near base of E-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as sub-circular embanked enclosure, has been levelled. However, it is now evident as roughly circular area (26.2m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.25m; Wth 1.8m), with external fosse (D 0.2m; Wth 2.3m) SE->S. Arc of infilled fosse is identified by band of nettles (Wth 2m) running around base of scarp NE->W and wider band of yellow grass (Wth 5.5m) S->N. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to E. • LI028-025 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  In pasture 20m SW of ringfort (LI019-198----) and 65m N of ringfort (LI028-026----). Depicted on the 1840 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. The 1897 OS 25-inch map depicts a circular-shaped area (int. diam. 24m; ext. dims. 44m NE-SW; 42m E-W) defined by the remains of an internal bank and external scarp with an intervening fosse. The inner bank (approx. Wth 4m) is depicted throughout while the intervening fosse (max. Wth 4.5m) is shown from E through S to W. The outer enclosing element is evident as a scarp from E through S to W and as a field boundary from W through N to NNE. A spring well is shown within the fosse at SE and is connected to a drain that intersects the outer bank at E.   Description

  In pasture, on SSE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 44.5m ENE-WSW) defined by scarped edge (H 1.05m; Wth 8m) N->WSW but enclosing element is levelled elsewhere; depicted as complete circular enclosure on 1841 OS 6-inch map but as in present condition on 1923 OS 6-inch map. Field boundary and farm trackway cross interior on ENE-WSW axis and scarp has been lowered at ENE and WSW to accommodate trackway. Interior slopes down to SE. Stream immediately to SE.
