Description
In low-lying pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.8m); a dry-stone field wall (H 0.9m) runs along outer edge of fosse. Bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.9m), heavily masked by overgrowth, has been quarried out (Wth 6m) at NNE creating a rough causeway across fosse. Interior, covered with briars and bracken, slopes very gently down to W; two electricity poles stand near verge at SSW. Description
In pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Circular area (28m N-S; 29.4m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank, with external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.65m) SSE->N. A dry-stone field wall runs along outer edge of fosse WSW->N. Bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.8m), best preserved SE->N, lowers slightly along NE arc. Entrance (Wth 4.4m) at ESE.
