  Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (19m N-S; 19.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank is best preserved W->NE (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) but eroded by cattle elsewhere. Fosse (Wth 1m; D 0.45m) is shallowest along S arc. Interior, which slopes down to S, is marshy and covered with rushes. Bushes and small trees cover bank and fosse.   Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope and immediately N of road. Circular area (38m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.55m) is eroded by cattle in places, and has a very low internal height (int. H 0.1m) along S arc. Break (Wth 4m) in bank at NNE. Fosse (Wth 2.1m; D 1.2m), most clearly evident WSW->E, is covered by overgrowth NNE->E.   Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (21m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening and outer fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.1m) evident all round, apart from short section c. 5m long at SSE where it grades to a scarped edge (H 0.45m; Wth 2m). Outer bank (int. H 1.48m; ext. H 1.5m) also evident all round but is at its lowest (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1m) at SSE. Intervening fosse (Wth 2.1m) evident SSW->NE, elsewhere banks are separated by flat terrace which widens to c. 4m at SSE. External fosse evident (Wth 1.4m; D 0.3m) W->NNW. Interior used as rough grazing and slopes down towards SSE. Mature beech and sycamore trees cover entire site. Field boundary skirts enclosure at S.   Description

  In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Oval area (27.5m N-S; 17.1m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.3m) W->NE, and defined by scarped edge (H 1.4m; Wth 1.7m) NE->W, with an external fosse (Wth 1.5m) WNW->ENE and SSE->SSW, and a counterscarp bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.2m) along outer edge of fosse at NE. Presence of fosse ENE->SSE could not be determined due to overgrowth and dumping of organic debris. Scarp highest ENE->SSE but also where covered by dense overgrowth. Field boundaries abut scarp at ENE and SSE. Interior level and under pasture. Bushes and whitethorn trees grow along bank.
