Description
Freestanding Catholic Church, built 1967-9, having fan-shaped plan with projecting transepts to north and south and raised projecting porch to west with pitched copper-seamed roof supported on flanking yellow sand-lime brick piloti. Continuous butterfly copper-seamed roof having projecting eaves with timber boarded soffits. Concealed gutters with square-section cast-iron downpipes. Raised octagonal drum having stained-glass curtain walling and central framework copper spire having cross finial. Frame construction comprising structural piers with yellow sand-lime brick cladding, and full-height timber-framed stained-glass curtain-walling with concrete mullions and aprons. Three square-headed entrance doors located to west porch and having timber battened double-leaf doors; responding glazed timber internal entrance doors opening into nave. Square-headed secondary entrances to north and south with similar doors. Building raised on stepped plinth, with landscaped gardens and tarmac driveway to west, carpark to east. Interior is single volume in the round, with timber-boarded ceiling on regular structural downstand beams encased in timber; timber-boarded square columns supporting central raised drum with full colour spectrum glass clerestory. Raised altar accessed by five steps, with organ pipes to east wall, flanked by grey sand-lime brick walling with engaged rectangular concrete pilotis. Stained-glass Stations of the Cross integrated into stained-glass curtain walling to northwest and northeast walls. Steel-framed timber pews and carpeted flooring.

Description
Detached four-bay two-storey L-plan former farmhouse, built c. 1838, with bowed south elevation, porch addition to west, abutments to re-entrant corner, and complex of outbuildings to east forming courtyard. Vacant at time of survey (June 2018). Hipped slate main roof, with angled clay ridge tiles and projecting eaves with exposed rafter tails; corniced stucco eaves to south elevation; eaves-mounted replacement uPVC gutters, largely replacement uPVC downpipes, and some original cast-iron hoppers and downpipes; unpainted rendered chimneystacks to north and east walls with tall ornate yellow clay pots; flat roof to porch, with canted corners and moulded eaves course, painted concrete block walling and projecting masonry plinth course. Rubble stone walling, laid to courses, having shallow projecting plinth and buff brick quoins; buff brick walling to south elevation. Square-headed window openings, largely with projecting sandstone sills, buff brick surrounds and generally timber sliding sash windows, six-over-six pane to south elevation and six-over-three pane to west elevation; replacement timber casement to north bay of west elevation; window openings to ground floor infilled with concrete block; segmental-headed opening with flush masonry sill and buff brick apron to west elevation; and multiple-pane timber casement window with panelled apron to north elevation of porch. Square-headed doorway to south wall of porch, with timber eight-pane toplight and replacement metal door. Similarly detailed complex of largely two-storey outbuildings to east, arranged around courtyard; having replacement artificial slate roofs and replacement uPVC rainwater goods; squared rubble walls built to courses; some replacement casement windows and largely replacement metal doors, buff brick surrounds. Three-storey block to east edge of courtyard with hipped natural slate roof, unpainted rendered walling and metal casement windows. Tarmac surface to courtyard. Segmental-headed carriage-arch to north end of courtyard. Complex of buildings located on Hampstead Avenue, on south edge of Albert College Park.

Semi-detached pair of three-bay single-storey houses with dormer attics, built c. 1920, with projecting single-storey gabled porches to front (west) elevation and modern two-storey flat-roofed extension to rear; shared gable to centre. Pitched sprocketed Rosemary tiled roof with cockscomb ridge tiles; projecting eaves having replacement uPVC gutters and downpipes; unpainted roughcast rendered chimneystacks to gables and party wall having projecting red clay platband and cowled red clay pots. Unpainted roughcast walling over smooth rendered plinth course. Square-headed window openings, those to attic set within gables, having patent reveals, projecting painted masonry sills, apparently original three-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to southern house and replacement uPVC to northern house. Blind loop opening to apex of central gable and having smooth-rendered surround. Square-headed doorway to side elevation of each porch, having patent reveals and replacement timber door. Set back from road, with front gardens enclosed by unpainted roughcast dwarf wall with masonry coping with that to north replaced with hedging; smooth-rendered gate piers flanking vehicular entrances to north and south and central pedestrian entrances. Forms part of complex of buildings consisting of similarly styled pair of semi-detached houses to north and Cuilin House to west.
