Description
Situated on a steep W facing slope called Knockanteedan, overlooking the weir at Glenasmole. A mound (diam 27m, H 2m) shown as a relatively small hachured earthwork on the 1938 OS 6-inch map. Description
This reservoir is the lower of two reservoirs serving the Ballyboden water treatment works, built c.1880. Turf covered stone dam, stone lined reservoir, spillway with double-arched coursed rubble stone bridge over, and stone valve building approached via steel lattice bridge.

Linear group of farm buildings, c.1820. Three-bay single-storey house with roughcast rendered walls, timber casement windows and a pitched slate roof with rendered chimney stack. Later flat-roofed porch extension. Three-bay single-storey former barn to south with roughcast rendered walls, timber windows and a corrugated iron roof. Four-bay dwelling to north with rendered, ruled and lined walls, timber casement windows and a pitched slate roof. Corrugated iron privy to rere.

Linear group of farm buildings comprising a two-bay two-storey farm house, c.1835, with earlier two- and three-bay single-storey dwellings and single-storey barn to the south. Roughcast rendered walls. Smooth rendered, ruled and lined to gable. uPVC casement windows. Pitched slate roof, corrugated iron to barn, with four rendered chimney stacks. Partly originally thatched. Lean-to extension to rere.
