Description
On E-facing slope of a hill, close to the td. boundary, in undulating farmland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a small oval enclosure and on 3rd ed. (1930) as a small circular mound (D c. 20m). No visible surface trace survives. A CBG (GA043-016001-) is associated. Description
Within an enclosure (GA043-016----). A simple CBG, in fair condition, consisting of a subcircular area (E-W c. 12m, NW-SE c. 8.7m) enclosed by a very low bank of earth and stone, and within which a number of small irregular stones, indicating graves, are set haphazardly. Description
In level grassland within the former Caherhugh Demesne. Poorly preserved overgrown subcircular cashel (NE-SW c. 40m, NW-SE c. 35m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall best preserved at ESE and W. A low grassed-over stony bank (L c. 10m), running NE-SW, is visible within the interior. Gaps at N and E appear modern.
