Description
In a hollow in pastureland, to the NW of Carramina House. This oval cairn (24.6m ENE-WSW; 16.6m ESE-WNW) is composed of small loose stones and a number of large boulders. Description
In marshy land. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 256, no. 20a) as a circular ‘Stone fort’ (c. 25m E-W; c. 24m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall which was obscured by debris. Traces of four rectangular house sites (GA105-060001-) lay immediately to the E. A large mound of field-clearance rubble now occupies the site and no visible surface trace of the monument survives. Description
In marshy land. According to McCaffrey (1952, 256, No. 20a), the remains of old field walls were visible to the N of the cashel (GA105-060001-) and immediately to its E were the remains of four similar sized stone house sites, measuring 7.6m x 6m overall and defined by walls 0.79m wide and 0.6m high.
