Description
On a rise in grassland within the former Woodlawn Demesne. Well-preserved but densely overgrown circular rath (D 32.5m) defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. There is an entrance gap at ESE. A number of hollows are visible within the interior and a low bank (L 4.2m) at WNW is probably upcast from quarrying. Description
Some 50m SW of a church (GA086-150001-). Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 30m), but evidently partially removed by the time of 3rd ed. (1947) when only W section was represented. All that survives is a scarp (L 32m) from SW through W to NW; the E section was apparently levelled during construction of the adjacent road. Description
In woodland within the former Woodlawn Demesne. Very poorly preserved oval enclosure (NNE-SSW 17.5m, NW-SE 14.3m) defined by an overgrown and much-quarried out scarp. A rectangular depression within the interior may also be the result of quarrying. According to local tradition, Diarmuid and Grainne spent a night here during their 'flight'. Description
Detached T-plan three-bay two-storey steward's house, built c.1870, having full-height projecting bay to front elevation with full-height canted-bay window, lean-to verandah to front re-entrant corner, and full-height return to rear. Now derelict. Pitched and hipped slate roofs, with terracotta ridge crestings, red brick chimneystacks and carved timber bargeboards. Red brick walls with chamfered cut limestone plinth. Brick walls to verandah with pointed arcade. Square-headed window openings with chamfered brick surrounds and limestone sills, and having remains of one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Located amongst outbuildings to the rear (west) of Woodlawn House.

Description
Multiple-bay single-storey stables, built c.1860, rebuilt after fire c.1910. Now derelict. Two-bay two-storey workers' house attached to north end of range, with three-bay return and two-bay single-storey addition to west gable of return. Ruinous remains of multiple-bay single-storey outbuildings to west of worker's house, and to east of stables. Pitched slate roofs to stables, roughcast rendered walls, square-headed window openings, some with replacement timber windows, some blocked, square-headed door openings some with remains of timber battened half doors, some blocked. Pitched slate roofs to workers' house, rendered eaves course, lined-and-ruled rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with cut limestone sills and remains of four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows. Blocked square-headed door opening to north elevation, with blocked square-headed sidelights with cut stone sills. Rubble stone boundary wall to yard, with cut and tooled limestone piers. Set to rear of Woodlawn House.

Description
Detached Palladian-style country house comprising three-bay three-storey central block built c.1760, having slightly advanced end bays and projecting tetrastyle Ionic portico to entrance bay, remodelled c.1860 and flanked by four-bay two-storey wings having projecting pedimented end bay to each wing. Now disused. Hipped slate roofs, gabled to pediments, cut limestone chimneystacks with quoins and corbelled cornices and ceramic chimneypots, cut limestone balustraded parapet with carved pinnacles and corbelled cornice to central block, cut limestone cornice and frieze to wings, and cut limestone parapets with block modillions to pedimented bays. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls, with vermiculated rusticated limestone quoins to first floor of central block, rusticated limestone walls to ground floor of central block, rendered walls with cut limestone rusticated quoins to pedimented bays, and cut limestone sill course to first floor. All window openings to entrance front are set within carved limestone surrounds. Central block has tripartite openings to end bays, ground floor of each end bay having segmental pediment and engaged Doric columns to slightly advanced middle light, and flanked by Doric pilasters, with square-headed openings now boarded up, first floor of each end bay has balconette to middle light with balustrade having scrolled bracket supports, and segmental-headed windows set within recessed surrounds, and top floor of end bays have square-headed shouldered and kneed surrounds to each light with raised panels between. Remains of one-over-one and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Wings have tripartite windows to pedimented bays, ground floor having Venetian-style windows, middle light slightly advanced and having engaged square-plan Doric columns, flanked by Doric pilasters and having with moulded capitals and cornices. Similar window to pedimented projection in east elevation of house. Square-headed openings elsewhere to front façade of wings, first floor openings having pilasters and panelled aprons, decorative brackets below sill course corresponing to pilasters, and ground floor openings having moulded surrounds and cornices. Round-headed recesses to first floor of west elevation, having Diocletian openings to top and square-headed windows to bottom separated by limestone panels. Ground floor openings of west elevation have moulded surrounds. Round-headed window opening to front bay of east elevation, with pilasters and moulded archivolt. Timber shutters to wings and to first floor of central block. Tooled limestone sills throughout. Carved limestone tetrastyle Ionic portico has dentillated cornice with balustrade forming balconette, plain frieze and fluted columns with responding pilasters, and cut limestone steps with nosings. Round-headed door opening with round-headed sidelights, all with carved limestone surrounds. Cut limestone walls to interior of portico, with round-headed niches to side walls. Replacement door. Cut limestone plinth wall with decorative cast-iron railings and cut limestone piers, with carved limestone taller terminating piers to side boundaries of house. Set in own demesne, with outbuildings to west, and entrance gates and lodge to east.

Description
Entrance gateway to Woodlawn, erected c.1830, comprising wrought-iron double-leaf vehicular gate with arrow-head points and spikes below, flanked by square-profile cut limestone channelled piers with copings, panels to frieze above, carved cornices and ball finials. In turn flanked by similar wrought-iron railings set on cut limestone plinths, in turn flanked by matching piers. Rendered quadrant walls to road, having plinths and copings, and terminating piers matching others.

Detached three-bay single-storey gate lodge, built c.1830, having pedimented entrance porch to front (south) elevation. Now disused. Hipped slate roof with rock-faced rusticated chimneystacks with carved cornices, timber corbelled eaves course, and some lead flashing. Cut limestone pediment to porch, with pulvinated upper rails. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls with tooled limestone quoins and plinth course. Square-headed window openings with raised tooled limestone surrounds and cut limestone sills, windows boarded. Square-headed door opening set in segmental-headed recess, with chamfered limestone surround and timber panelled double-leaf door, and cut limestone step. Set inside entrance gates to Woodlawn.

Freestanding circular-plan folly tower, built c.1900. Unroofed. Partly rendered rubble stone walls. Square-headed door opening with dressed stone voussoirs. Boundary wall to demesne attached to south elevation of tower. Sited adjacent to road and adjacent to gate lodge and entrance to Woodlawn demesne.

Detached single-bay three-storey towerhouse-style gate lodge, built c.1850. Now vacant. Roof not visible. Rubble stone parapet walls with dressed limestone string course and copings. Rubble limestone walls. Square-headed window openings, pointed triple-light to ground floor, double pointed to first floor and single squre-headed to top storey, all with chamfered stone surrounds and label-mouldings. Entrance gates comprising pointed arch opening with double-leaf cast-iron gate, set in rubble limestone walls with crenellations having dressed stone copings, dressed stone string course and impost course, and cut-stone voussoirs. Rubble limestone flanking walls, with crenellations and dressed stone string course, with segmental-headed opening having rubble stone voussoirs and dressed stone sill. Situated to south of Woodlawn demesne.
