Description
In undulating grassland. Circular ringfort (D 34.4m), in fair condition, defined by two earthen stone-faced banks and an intervening fosse. A field wall cuts the monument at N and S, to E of which no visible surface trace of the outer bank survives. It is overlain by a field wall at SW. There is a probable souterrain (GA059-002001-) within the interior. Description
In N sector of a ringfort (GA059-002----). It consists of an oval hollow (L 6.2m, Wth 3.4m), running NW-SE and up to 1m in depth. Traces of possible stone-facing are visible along the sides of the hollow and the base is quite uneven and stony. On the summit of a hill in grassland. A fairly well-preserved almost circular rath (D 45.2m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse.
