Description
On a hillock in marshy grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 24m) defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The latter survives from SE to NW, and is overlain by a field bank from SW to N. Description
On a natural rise in marshy land prone to flooding. A poorly preserved irregular enclosure (E-W c. 30m, N-S c 20m) defined by a bank which survives at W and N. A later earthen field wall appears to overlie the bank from N to NE. From SE to SW, the monument has been destroyed as a result of the construction of a farmhouse. Traces of an almost levelled field wall, running from E to W, are visible within the interior.
