Description
In a low-lying position in gently undulating grassland, c. 50m W of a stream. Subcircular rath (N-S 27.5m, E-W 26m), in fair condition, defined by a bank best preserved from SE through S to SW. A band of vegetation evident from S through W to NE may indicate an external fosse. A gap (Wth 2m) at SW could be original. Quarrying has disturbed the bank from ENE through E to SE. Description
In undulating grassland. A poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (E-W 36m, N-S 34m) defined by a scarp. Traces of an external fosse, indicated by a shallow ill-defined depression, are evident from N to E. The interior is no used as a garden. Description
In undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved oval rath (N-S 46m, E-W 39m) defined by a bank and external fosse. From NE through E to SSE a scarp forms the enclosing element. Field boundaries disturb the enclosing elements at E and S, and there is a quarry at SW. A ringfort (GA087-105----) lies c. 230m to E. On a hummock in slightly undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 32m, N-S 27m) defined by a bank from SW through W to N; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. A gap (Wth 6m) at E could be original. Within N half of the interior, a keyhole-shaped mound of stone is visible. Description
On a ridge in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 33m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. A field bank overlies the inner bank from N through E to SE. The fosse and outer bank survive from SSW to W. A gap (Wth 2m) at N could be original. A trapezoidal-shaped enclosure (N-S 14m) extends from the monument at SSW.
