Description

Description
In grassland. An oval rath (c. 40m NW-SE; c. 30m NE-SW), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse. There is an entrance gap at NNE. A field boundary runs beside the outer limits of the fosse from WSW to NW. A linear depression in the NW quadrant may mark the site of a souterrain (GA106-119001-). Description
Within the NW quadrant of a rath (GA106-119----). This roughly L-shaped depression (L >16.5m, Wth 4.5m max.; D 0.7m) runs NE-SW for 12m before turning SE at NE end for a further 4.5m. - GA106-120 Ringfort - rath
Description
On a low ridge in undulating pastureland. This circular rath (diam. c. 40m), in fair condition, is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is visible all round except for a gap at S into which a gate has been inserted. The fosse survives from NNE to E, from SSW to SW and from WSW to WNW. The outer bank is only evident at SE. A field wall cuts the monument at NNE and SSW. Another rath (GA106-121----) lies c. 65m to the E. Description
Some 65m to the E of a another rath (GA106-120----). This circular rath (diam. c. 50m), in fair condition, is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Gaps occur in the banks at N and S (each Wth 2m). A field boundary overlies the outer bank from SW through N to SE. A souterrain (GA106-121001-) lies in the W sector of the interior. Description
In the W sector of the interior of a rath (GA106-121----). This much-collapsed drystone-built souterrain (L >18.2m) is L-shaped in plan. The long axis (L 9.3m; Wth 1.4m) runs N-S.
