Description
In undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (E-W 35m, N-S 30m) defined by a bank and external fosse. A number of small gaps in the enclosing element appear modern. There is a standing stone (GA004-020----) 135m to SE and ringfort (GA004-023----) 120m to N. - GA004-023 Ringfort - rath
Description
Some 120m N of a ringfort (GA004-019----). Subcircular rath (E-W 55m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives at E and W; elsewhere a degraded scarp forms the enclosing element. A drainage ditch and road cut through the enclosing elements from SE to SW. There is an entrance at N. Description
On N-facing slope of a low rise in undulating grassland. An irregularly shaped standing stone of sandstone (H 1.6m). The numerous small depressions on its surface are probably due to erosion.
