Description
On a ridge in grassland overlooking bogland to N and S. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (D c. 30.5m). What survives is a low scarp from E through S to W. Description
On a ridge summit in grassland overlooking bogland to N. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 39m) defined by a bank from W through N to E. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. Description
In bogland interspersed with glacial ridges. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1930) as a semicircular depression (D c. 35m) on SW side of a laneway. The landowner levelled a small sand hill here some years ago, but was afterwards informed that it was a 'fort'. No visible surface trace survives.
