Description
On a rise in grassland. Very poorly preserved roughly circular rath (D c. 24m) defined by a bank which survives from S to W. A scarp forms the enclosing element at SE; elsewhere quarrying has encroached upon the monument. According to local information, there was a 'cave' (possible souterrain) within the interior, no visible surface trace of which survives. Description
On a gentle rise. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1932) as an oval enclosure (N-S c. 40m, E-W c. 25m). Apart from a very slightly raised platform, no visible surface trace survives; it was levelled during land reclamation. Description
On the summit of a prominent hillock in otherwise level grassland. According to local information, there was a 'cemetery'here in which a number of 'fully grown skeletons', and parts of coffin furniture were found. The most recent discovery was that of a skeleton and coffin handles which were unearthed c. 1980 while making a cutting in NE part of the hillock.
