Description
On N end of a ridge. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1946) as a subcircular enclosure (N-S c. 30m, E-W c. 20m). No visible surface trace survives. Description
On a hummock in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved overgrown circular ringfort (D 26m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse, best preserved from SE through S to SW. Traces of stone revetment survive on the internal face of the inner bank. A field boundary cuts the monument at NE and SE, to E of which no trace of the fosse or outer bank survive. Description
Circa 100m SE of a ringfort (GA087-170----). Poorly preserved overgrown circular rath (D 31m) defined by a degraded bank and shallow external fosse; the latter survives from NE through E to SE. A gap (Wth 6.5m) at ESE could be original. From SW through W to NW, a field bank overlies the enclosing elements. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at E. Description
In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (N-S 54m, E-W 49m) defined by a bank from WNW through N to ENE, and elsewhere by a scarp which is overlain from SSE to SW by a field boundary. An external fosse is best preserved from N to E. Traces of an outer bank survive from NNE to ENE. A N-S running field boundary cuts through the monument to W of centre. Description
In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (E-W 35m, N-S 31m) defined by a degraded bank which is overlain by a field boundary. At NW, a feeding pen has been built into the inner face of the bank, and farm buildings have disturbed the enclosing element at W. Field boundaries radiate from the bank at NE and E. Description
In low-lying marshland c. 10m N of a stream. Poorly preserved subcircular ringfort (N-S 36m, E-W 33m) defined by a stone-faced bank and external fosse. A gap (Wth 7m) at S could be original. Field boundaries which radiate from the bank at N and SE have disturbed the fosse. Two fulachta fiadh (GA087-175002-, GA087-175003-) lie c. 20m to WNW and WSW respectively. Description
In low-lying marshy farmland to S of a stream. A poorly preserved horseshoe-shaped and grass-covered mound (NW-SE 9m, NE-SW 6.5m, H 0.6m) showing traces of burnt stone and chert. It opens towards N. Another fulacht fiadh (GA087-175003-) lies immediately to SE and there is a ringfort (GA087-175001-) c. 20m to ESE. The NW rath (GA087-176----), subcircular in plan (N-S 22m, E-W 20.5m), is defined by a bank of earth and stone, overlain from NE through E to S by a field wall. Within its interior is a CBG (GA087-176001-). The SE rath (GA087-176002-), kidney-shaped in plan (NE-SW 29.5m, NW-SE 17.5m), is defined by a bank of earth and stone and external fosse; the latter survives from E to S. Entrance causeway (Wth 2m) at SE. Within the interior are a number of randomly placed boulders. Description
On E face of a ridge in undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved roughly oval enclosure (N-S 28m, E-W 17m) defined by a bank from SW through N to SE. A gap (Wth 4m) at N could be original. A depression runs from N through E to SE along the inner face of the bank. Irregular mounds and hollows are evident outside the enclosure at E and S.
