• GA125-105 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On the summit of a hillock in pastureland. This circular rath (diam. 39.5m), in fair condition, is defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. It is heavily overgrown with hawthorn trees and bushes. A gap at SE is modern. The interior rises towards the centre. A hollow in NNW sector is the result of quarrying.   Description

  In low-lying pastureland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a subcircular enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 35m E-W), most likely a rath. On inspection in May 1985, apart from a slight rise, no visible surface trace survived. However, its outline from roughly SE to NW is visible on OSi aerial photographs (Google maps).   Description

  On top of a hillock in marshy pastureland. Very poorly preserved subcircular rath (c. 35m E-W) defined by a bank and external fosse. • GA125-109 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a rise in hilly pastureland. Subcircular rath (32m E-W; 30m N-S), in fair condition, defined by an inner scarp, two banks and two fosses. The scarp is visible all round. The inner bank, which is the best preserved section of the monument, is also clearly evident except from SW to N where is has been dug into. The outer bank only survives at S. The inner fosse is visible throughout but the outer fosse only survives from N to SE and at S. Cattle gaps breach the middle bank at NNW and SSE. • GA125-112 Fulacht fia
  Description

  In marshy grassland, c. 30m to the E of a small stream. This fulacht fia is defined by a low penannular mound (12.8m N-S; H 0.5m) opening towards the W.
