Description
In overgrown strip of ground. Raised oval area (27.4m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.3m) to N, E and S; scarp to W. Entrance (Wth 3.4m) to S. Bank and interior heavily overgrown with ferns and some bushes. Field fence built against outer face of bank to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
