Description
In pasture, W of Blackwater River, on break in S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.7m). Bank and interior heavily overgrown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). Description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular slightly raised area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.2m), stone-faced in parts; silted-up external fosse. Description
On flat pasture on E side of low hill which slopes down to Blackwater river. Stones, aligned NE-SW, stand 1.7m apart; overall length 3.8m. NE stone is 0.85m L, 0.55m T and 0.8m H.
