Description
Roadside well known as 'St. Coran's Well'. According to plaque pilgrimage to well was revived in 1975 on saints feast day February 9th. Well is covered by ornate, stone-built, gabled structure. Roughly incised cross towards top of structure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Description
In the SW area of an irregularly shaped field, on a SW-facing slope. A possible standing stone (Wth c. 0.3m; H c. 0.9m) was noted in this field where archaeological test excavation took place in 2003 prior to a proposed development. The possible standing stone is described as being roughly square in section and is orientated NE-SW. Subsequent topsoil stripping around the recorded location of the possible standing stone in 2004 revealed no identifiable archaeological features. Two subcircular features (CO067-092----) were identified and subsequently excavated within the proposed development area. Description
Excavation at a proposed development to the SE of the medieval town of Youghal (CO067-029001-) revealed two small subcircular features. Struck flint was recovered from the most northerly of the two spreads. A possible standing stone (CO067-091----) is situated in the SW area of the proposed development. Description
Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c. 1780. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, render ridge capping and copings and red brick eaves course. Red brick walls with square-headed openings having red brick voussoirs and block-and-start surrounds. Those to the first floor having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows and those to the ground floor currently blocked. Round-headed opening to ground floor with red brick voussoirs and block-and-start surround and spoked fanlight. Set in grounds back from road.

Description
Detached multiple-bay single- and two-storey factory, built 1946-7. Now disused. Comprising single-bay three-stage entrance block, flanked by four-bay two-storey block to north and by recessed two-bay two-storey block to south, having projecting single- and two-storey sections. Fifteen-bay single-storey block to north. Flat roofs to main entrance section, with corrugated saw-tooth roofs and vent pipes to northern block. Roughcast rendered walls having render plinth. Double-height engaged concrete columns flanking entrance with elongated entablature above. Clocks to three faces of central entrance block. Carved stone plaque to set over entrance. Square-headed openings having glass bricks to entrance block and to projecting flanking sections to south of entrance. Square-headed openings set in triple arrangements to northern block, having metal casement windows with concrete sills. Pair of timber panelled double leaf doors to entrance with limestone step.

Wall-mounted carved bas relief plaque, erected c. 1950, depicting woman with basket of cotton, lengths of fabric and industrial machinery. Set above entrance to former textile factory.

Freestanding gable-fronted Roman Catholic church, built 1939, having fourteen-bay nave elevations with flanking side aisles, inset confessionals and projecting flat roofed porches. Five-bay single-storey sacristy with gabled three-bay entrance attached to south-west corner. Pitched slate roof to have and single pitched roofs to aisles, with cast-iron rainwater goods, moulded ashlar eaves cornice, ashlar limestone gable copings and bellcote to west gable. Hipped slate roof with red brick and limestone chimneystack, cast-iron rainwater goods and moulded limestone eaves course to sacristy. Red brick walls with ashlar limestone plinth, quoins, and having limestone banding with round-headed insets at eaves level to front elevation.
