Description
In level pasture, in NW part of townland. According to local information there was a church and burial ground in this field. Although O Donoghue (1986, 186) records "Old church and burial ground" in NE part of townland, he may have been referring to this site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
