  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (37m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 0.9m) ENE->NNW. Break in bank to SSW. Partially destroyed between 1904 and 1918 (Healy 1904, 113; Power 1918, 224).   In tillage, on W-facing slope. Heavily overgrown, circular area (31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.7m). Healy (1904, 113) describes 'a lios (on the lands of Mrs. Mary Buckley)...inside height 5ft...outside height 6ft'. • CO075-042 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On S-facing slope, overlooking Ballyleary stream. Farm shed now built on site; no visible surface trace. Local tradition of ringfort here. According to Healy (1904, 113) ..'a Rath, has completely disappeared....a portion of it occupied by (a) residence. This Rath had a stream of water running through it, hence the name Lisanisky, or "Fort of the Water". Power, however (1918, 224) describes a standing lios, probably (CO075-037--) as 'the name-giving lios'. Ringfort (CO075-033---) c. 170m to W; fulacht fiadhs (CO075-035---; CO075-03601-; CO075-03602-) to W and NW.   Description

  Pair of semi-detached four-bay single-storey houses, built c. 1900, that to south having multiple-bay single-storey extension to rear. Hipped slate roofs with red brick chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with painted sills and three-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door openings with timber battened doors.
