  Description

  In pasture, on a SE-facing slope overlooking Bantry Bay. This standing stone (1m x 0.5m; H 1.6m) is orientated NE-SW and it leans to the SE. According to local information, a priest hid under the leaning stone while being pursued in penal times. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
