In pasture, at base of W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Probably levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 29yd) referred to by Bowman (1934, 496) on Mrs. O'Riordan's land. Description
In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (31.5m E-W; 30.3m N-S) defined by low rise (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) with shallow external fosse (D 0.15m), except to SW. Entrance (Wth 5.8m) to ENE. Drainage ditch and field boundary skirts bank S->WSW. Interior slopes down gently to W; wet and waterlogged with rushes growing in parts.
