In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (23.25m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by low, worn, earthen bank (int. H 0.5m); with intervening fosse and outer bank (H 1.3m) surviving N->SW. Gap (Wth 1.75m) in inner bank to NW; second gap (Wth 2.2m) through both banks to ESE. Field fence running approximately N-S curves to respect enclosure on E side. Depicted as hachured, roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 70m) on 1842, 1904 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps; limekiln indicated on W bank on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled May 1984; no visiblesurface trace.
