Moylish Castle [LI005-050001-] described by Westropp (1906-7, 82) as following; '1665 It is probably the peel-tower of "Mollish" at Ballineaghtenmore (Petty 63); probably Mealish, held by Sir James White (C.S., xviii., p. 79)'. Moylish [Mollish] Castle depicted as a tower house type structure surrounded by a cluster of dwellings on the Down Survey map of the North Liberties in Limerick (Hib. Reg.).
