  Description

  Old church in ruins mentioned here (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 180). No upstanding remains which might be considered part of a medieval church. The N gable of a mortuary chapel lies in NE part of the rectangular graveyard (LA008-002001-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.   Description

  No upstanding remains which might be considered part of a medieval church (LA008-002-). N gable of mortuary in NE part of graveyard.
