Description
A circular area (diam. c. 41.7m) defined by a scarp, intervening fosse (Wth c. 7.2m, int. H c. 1.2m) and outer bank (Wth c. 1.4m, int. H c. 2.3m, ext. H c. 0.95m). Gap at S may be original. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
