Situated on a rise. The S portion of an enclosure (C c. 45m SE-SW) marked on the 1908 edition of the OS 6-inch map is defined by a low bank (Wth c. 1.8m; int. H c. 0.3m, ext. Description
Hachured on the 1890 and 1906 editions of the OS 6-inch maps; a circular area (max. diam. c. 40m). The site was levelled approximately ten years ago and only a slight indication of the bank survives at NW and E. No other visible surface remains. Description
Site of a sand pit, nothing here of archaeological importance. Site identified by Candon as a ringfort (Candon 1987, 23). Possible enclosure indicated on the 1838 edition of the OS six-inch map where it is depicted as a circular feature located in an area of woodland. This feature is partially indicated on the current edition of the OS six-inch map.
