Description
Detached three-bay single-storey house with half-dormer attic, extant 1840, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch. Hipped gabled slate roof; pitched (gabled) slate roof (porch), clay ridge tiles, rendered central chimney stack having concrete capping supporting terracotta pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on roughcast eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Part creeper- or ivy-covered roughcast walls bellcast over rendered plinth. Square-headed central door opening with rendered "bas-relief" surround framing timber panelled door. Square-headed flanking window openings with cut-granite sills, and rendered "bas-relief" surrounds framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set back from line of road in landscaped grounds with chamfered piers to perimeter having pyramidal capping supporting wrought iron-detailed flat iron gate.

Detached three-bay double-height single-cell Ecclesiastical Commissioners' Church of Ireland church, built 1844; dedicated 1844, on a rectangular plan with single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to entrance (west) front. Deconsecrated, 1971. Pitched slate roof with roll moulded clay ridge tiles, lichen-covered cut-granite "saddleback" coping to gables on cut-granite battlemented ogee corbel kneelers including lichen-covered cut-granite "saddleback" coping to gable to entrance (west) front with lichen-spotted cut-granite gabled bellcote to apex, and cast-iron rainwater goods on cut-granite eaves retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Part repointed tuck pointed coursed rubble "Old Red Sandstone" walls on benchmark-inscribed cut-granite chamfered plinth with hammered granite or "Old Red Sandstone" flush quoins to corners. Lancet window openings with cut-granite surrounds having chamfered reveals framing fixed-pane fittings having cast-iron lattice glazing bars. Pointed-arch window opening (east) with interlocking timber Y-mullions, and cut-granite surround having chamfered reveals with hood moulding on engaged octagonal label stops framing fixed-pane fittings having cast-iron lattice glazing bars. Set in landscaped grounds on a corner site.

Farmyard complex, extant 1840, on a U-shaped plan including: Pair of detached five-bay single-storey outbuildings with half-attics in rectangular plans. Now disused. Pitched corrugated-iron roofs with pressed iron ridges, rendered or slate-covered coping to gables (north) with red brick Flemish bond chimney stacks to apexes having stringcourses below rendered capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on red brick header bond eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Part creeper- or ivy-covered coursed rubble stone walls with red brick flush quoins to corners. Square-headed door openings including square-headed central loading door openings (half-attic) with red brick block-and-start surrounds framing timber boarded doors. Square-headed window openings with shallow sills, and red brick block-and-start surrounds framing wrought iron bars (ground floor) or louvered timber fittings (half-attic). Set on a corner site centred on screen with pair of square-headed door openings centred on elliptical-headed gateway.

Attached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, extant 1840, on a cruciform plan centred on single-bay full-height gabled breakfront on a shallow half-octagonal plan; three-bay single-storey lean-to return along rear (north) elevation. Occupied, 1911. Refenestrated, ----. Now disused. Pitched slate roof centred on pitched (gabled) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, grouped rendered diagonal chimney stacks (north) on rendered panelled base supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta pots, timber bargeboards to gable on timber purlins, and remains of cast-iron rainwater goods on limewashed red brick header bond eaves. Limewashed rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with shallow sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement fixed-pane timber fittings. Set in unkempt grounds.

Detached three-bay single- and two-storey country house with half-dormer attic, extant 1840, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey flat-roofed projecting porch to ground floor abutting single-bay single-storey recessed end bay (north) or single-bay two-storey gabled projecting end bay (south); single-bay single-storey (north) or four-bay two-storey (south) side elevations. Occupied, 1911. Replacement pitched artificial slate roofs on a T-shaped plan with ridge tiles, rendered or slate hung chimney stacks having lichen-covered capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta octagonal pots, decorative timber bargeboards to gables on timber purlins, and cast-iron rainwater goods on decorative timber eaves boards on slightly overhanging eaves retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Slate hung walls on rendered plinth. Square-headed central door opening with step threshold, and concealed dressings framing timber boarded or tongue-and-groove timber panelled door. Square-headed flanking window openings (south) with shallow sills, and concealed dressings with hood mouldings on consoles framing casement windows having margins centred on lattice glazing bars. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing timber casement windows having margins. Set in landscaped grounds with looped cast-iron piers to perimeter supporting "sun burst"-detailed flat iron double gates.
