Canal lock station, built c.1790, consisting of a pair of timber and steel lock gates set in channel with limestone lock walls and mooring bollards. Associated canal bridge to site.

Single-arch masonry canal bridge, built c.1797, carrying accommodation road over the Grand Canal. Located to the west end of the 22nd lock. Parapets of rubble stone with dressed limestone voussoirs to soffit of arch and string course. Humped deck. Segmental profile arch. Jostle stone to south-west pier.
