  Description

  Site was levelled a couple of years ago, no surface trace visible. Air Corps aerial photographs (755/6) shows faint outline of circular enclosure. • OF036-005 Enclosure
  Description

  Located on W facing slope on high ground just below summit. Circular area (diam 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.7m) which has been reduced to a scarp in places. No evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. Overgrowth in the interior made examination difficult. Roadway intersects site at SE. The interior slopes from E to W. • OF036-020 Moated site
  Description

  Located on natural ridge in undulating countryside. Sub-rectangular platform (46m N-S by 54m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (ext. H 1.5m) which has built up rounded corners typical of a moated site. No evidence of an enclosing fosse which may be due to the field boundaries which intersect all four sides of the site probably destroying original fosse. • OF036-021 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated in undulating countryside with extensive views in all directions. Raised oval shaped area (diam 85m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (ext. H 7m; int. H 1.5m; Wth 2m) which is best preserved at E, with outer fosse (Wth 6m) also best preserved at E. A field drain intersects the site at S destroying the inner bank and outer fosse.
