Description
On reclaimed land in marshy ground at the edge of a bay and on the S side of a drain at the SE corner of Lower Lough Gara. Circular overgrown rise (diam. 13m; H 0.4-1.3m) of earth and stone. An iron knife and a quernstone were found at the site, and a dug-out canoe was found tjust o the NE. Description
On reclaimed land in a former inlet at the SE corner of Lower Lough Gara, now surrounded by marshy ground, and on the N side of a drainage ditch. It is known locally as 'Ned's Island'. Subcircular overgrown cairn (diam. 29m N-S; 25m E-W; H 0.4-2.25m) with a cairn (diam. 4-5m) E of the centre. Two Bann flakes were recovered here. Description
On reclaimed land In marshy ground in a bay on the E side of Lower Lough Gara. Included as a crannog (Cross 1953) where an iron ferule, whetstone and one chert flake were found. Description
On the crest of a slight E-W ridge c. 100m from the N shore of the Callow Lough or Upper Lough Gara. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) at W and by a scarp (H 1-1.4m) elsewhere. It is surrounded by a fosse (Wth of base 4.2-5.3m; D 0.2-0.75m), with an outer bank (Wth 3.1-3.3m; H 0.2-0.6m) NNW-NE and SE-SW. The outer bank and fosse are truncated by a N-S drain at E, and the fosse is occupied by an E-W farm track at S. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Description
On the N shore at the E end of the Callow Lough of Upper Lough Gara, and known locally as 'Drury's Island'. Subcircular overgrown area (dims. 27m E-W; 23m N-S; H 0.4-1.4m) of earth and stone with some animal bones visible.
